Your Guide to Celebrating 4/20 at Pittsburgh Dispensaries

A Guide to Celebrating 4/20 at Pittsburgh Dispensaries

It's that time of year again - happy 4/20! This date is a celebration of all things cannabis-related, from the plant itself to the many products and ways people enjoy it. Here at Party on Butler, we support responsible cannabis use and believe in its positive effects on individuals and communities.

Types of Cannabis

There are different types of weed that people prefer based on their effects, potency, and overall experience. Delta 8, delta 9, and delta 10 are all different forms of THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis. Delta 8 is known to be less potent than delta 9 and delta 10, and it's often used for a more subtle and relaxing experience. Delta 9 is the most well-known form of THC, and it's responsible for the "high" feeling people associate with cannabis. Delta 10 is a newer form of THC, and its effects are still being studied.

CBD, on the other hand, is a non-psychoactive compound found in cannabis that is known for its therapeutic effects. CBD is often used for pain relief, anxiety reduction, and relaxation.

Is weed legal in PA?

The legality of cannabis in America is a complex issue. While it's still illegal at the federal level, many states have legalized cannabis for medical and/or recreational use. In Pennsylvania, medical cannabis is legal with a medical card. You can purchase up to a 30-day supply of cannabis products from a licensed dispensary. Still, without a medical card, you can purchase CBD products and certain Delta 8 and 10 products that give you similar effects.
